Bio.
Catherine is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian having obtained her qualifications from Curtin University in 2010. Catherine has worked as a dietitian across a range of settings. Starting her dietetic career at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital as a clinical dietitian, Catherine gained experience in specialties such as neurology, oncology, general medicine, cardiology and respiratory medicine.
Catherine moved to working within aged care providing dietetic support for residents and assessing the facility menus. More recently Catherine has worked for many years in the disability sector with NDIS clients. In 2024 she returned to SCGH working as an outpatient dietitian in the general/neurology/respiratory/gastro clinic.
Catherine has experience in nutrition for chronic conditions including abnormal lipids, fatty liver, hypertension, obesity, Type 2 Diabetes and chronic kidney disease.
Catherine has a passion for empowering her clients with knowledge and supporting them to achieve their nutrition and health goals with a patient-centred approach.
